But today, we digress from the normal happy go lucky posts which we are ever so inclined too, and we talk about something very serious.
On Friday, February 15th, 2008. My father and I went into the local Las Vegas Area Fry’s Electronics Mart. As we do often, we were taken aback by the pure magnitude of the items in store.
We set out with one purpose: To buy DVD-R disks in order to save our entire hard drives to hard copy. I myself found a cool Tablet Laptop to play with and was easily amused.
I have always found Fry’s Electronics to be a great and powerful God of the Electronics world, but not today..Not anymore.
Because on this day, An employee had a few harsh words for my father. I will reenact the conversation for you now.
Dad: Hey man, Is there an ATM in here?
Salesman: Nah man, You can find one over at the square though.
Dad (Looking to me): We’re screwed!
(I walk away to get a drink)
Salesman: Don’t be a Dick.
This is the kind of service you can expect from Fry’s Electronics, Because I am by far not the only person who has expirienced crappy service and total and complete lack of respect from sales personel, John has as well.
I ask you now folks, please…Think before you shop.
