I just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. I wanted to present myself, my name is Sam. Hello everyone, my name is Joseph.how-do-you-do to all, I am new here and my name is Bill.

I decided to post today because I think community as a whole is very functional and friendly. I enjoy looking at all of the issues and posts here and considering that I am not much of a poster, I came to the conclusion to create my very first post.

I think the bandwidth IS there to stream full and true 1080p HD video’s, however, the servers the media is hosted on, also need the bandwidth. A lot of the companies offering live or streamed HD quality video’s are just up-scalled and compressed on-the-fly, to make them LOOK like they are HD.

I’m in the UK, and with my virginmedia TV package, i can stream or push HD rentals to my set-top box.

The quality again isn’t as good as true 1080p blu-ray HD video, it’s not even as good as WMV-HD video either, so there is a long way to go in the forms of compression techniques and technology to enable what we call ‘true’ HD streaming.

If you were to stream a full HD filf, you’d be looking at around 35-45 Megs, just to stream the first few minutes. you out that on a server, and you’ll soon be wrenching the net pipe to shreds!

Disney along with many other companies should have their act together and they don’t. They offer features then prevent you from using it by failing to include the means for you to use said feature. Wouldn’t that infuriate you? I’m in the middle of moving into a new home and haven’t called support yet. It’s just the fact that one way or another it just doesn’t work. If it the copy of Wall-E didn’t have digital copy available inside the package it wouldn’t have been purchased for my kids . .the digital copy for me and the dvd for the kids.

Beta 2 release December 16th with the following code added to Windows Update….removes Beta 1 calls and inserts Beta2 call…

iTunes 8 ROCKS!!! I don’t know why but it makes funny case with my Dell Laptop, as it produce sounds larger than any other media player do with the same volume configuration. lol, steve jobs magic.

Whoa. I’m sorry you had to go through all that. It’s starting to make me wonder what’s really in iTunes8 for that to happen. I’ve seen “closing all programs” in the iTunes installer before since I started running Vista x64 and I haven’t even come close to going through what I went through this time, even though it was minor. I definitely would email apple support about this or post this in their support forums.

No it’s not a very nice install expierience at all.
